I am an IT system administrator. In the company in which I am employed,
I am responsible for IT infrastructure and network.
I support the following systems:
VMware VSphere, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, OpenText, Nagios, Kali Linux, Aruba Switch, Unifi Access Points
At home I am constantly improving my smart home and expanding it to meet my expectations. Systems such as linux and docker have enticed my enthusiasm a lot and I use them most of all at home. I have systems in action like Openhab, Pihole, Zigbee2Mqtt, Octoprint, Miflorapi, Grafana, Influxdb, Nextcloud, Logstash, Synology
Raspberry Pi
the best way to implement projects
Starting with the Raspberry Pi 1, I currently have at least one version of each. My openhab server is running on this raspberry pi. The raspberry pi is also responsible for the fact that I have a lot of contact with linux and have learned to love this system. I am also fascinated by the fact that everything having to do with linux is open source, and there are so many projects on github that you can use on the raspberry pi, as a result, the possibilities are almost endless. This makes this device an important ingredient of my life.
Smarthome System
and the house starts to think
Launched in 2014, a smarthome is indispensable to me. Well thought-out, it can make life at home a lot more comfortable and also save energy. Not only that it turns on lights automatically, it shows me when the garbage collection shows up, sends me messages when the laundry and the tumble dryer are ready, automatically opens the entrance gate when I drive home, shows me pictures of the surveillance cameras, shows me who enters my house, regulates the underfloor heating, I can see how many windows I have opened and controls the irrigation. And again and again this system expands.
